The whispering Rocks Resort is cradled in a bowl of snowy peaks whose heights range from 12,000 to 18,000 ft. Located at the head of the
Beas Valley at the point where the
main Beas River joins the Beas Nullah from the Rohtang Pass, the Resort offers some of the most sensational views of the fertile Manali valley.
Created in a traditional stone and wooden architecture of the Manali region, the Resort is designed to give guests the best vantage point to enjoy those panoramic views. Thus each room has its independent hand carved local style balcony overlooking the Beas River and snow capped peaks. Its green manicured lawns are a riot of flowers in the summer and turn into snowfields in winter.
All around are green pastures, alpine meadows and apple orchards. Just adjacent to the Resort is a waterfall flowing into a mountain gorge next to which is a sandy beach all available free of charge exclusively for hotel guests. |
